My feelings, like birds

that flew

into your glass

splat splat,

trickled down

onto the ground

near your feet.

Then like a gazelle

on a highway

I broke through

the windscreen

of your heart,

burst an

airbag

of promises

on an empty  seat.

We loved like raindrops

rolling down the  window pane,

like the fog

that covered up the road ahead,

when your favourite song

made you forget my words,

we reached out

wiped ,

the fog away.
